Germany is one among the main contender for 2010 FIFA world cup. Germany is playing international competitions since 1908 and it is monitored and governed by German Football Association. Germany has participated in every world cup soccer games except 1930 and 1950. They have won the world cup 3 times so far and this record is equal to Italy and just less than Brazil. Germany hosted the 2006 soccer world cup and the best part about this team is they have reached the final six times in the last 10 world cups. 

Manager of Germany team is Jurgen Klinsmann, though he live in California he has created great impacts on the team. He has brought some changes to the team and their approach to the game like attacking style of play. This kind of play brings more goals to the squad. Though they are rated as 16th best team in the world you can never under estimate the Germans talents. In 2006 they lost semi-finals to Italy and they got third place in the last 2006 FIFA world cup.
