Port Elizabeth, one of the most important port cities, also houses clean and tidy beaches. Admiringly, it was one of the first newly-built stadiums to be completed well before the start of 2010. Located very close to the beach, the sea breeze is a well-deserved relief for the players and the spectators. The stadium swanks numerous suites, parking bays, conference halls, lecture rooms apart from the beautiful ground in the middle. The shape of the roof is one of its kinds, with curly bars intertwined to form alternating grey and white folds.
With a seating capacity close to fifty thousand, though not the largest of grounds, it is meant to provide a relief for all football maniacs in the city. Apart from football, it may also play host to rugby matches after the 2010 World Cup. The city, known for its immaculateness in every aspect of life, it will not be surprising to find anything short of it from this newly-designed stadium as well.More in Fifa World Cup Stadiums
