Hockey, although not too popular in the U.S., is one of the most popular sports in the entire world. It is played heavily in Canada, Europe, and in all countries that were once part of the U.S.S.R. However, there are certainly many diehard hockey fans right here in the United States, particular in the New Jersey, New York, and Boston areas. If you fit into this category of diehard fan, a hockey themed wedding might be just the thing for you. I myself love the Devils, and would have no problem having a devils themed wedding. In a wedding such as this, the venue could be a replica of a hockey rink, or a famous hockey stadium where a certain favorite team's home games are played, such as the Prudential Center for the New jersey Devils. The groom might decide to be dressed in complete hockey attire sporting the jersey of the Devils' most honored player, goalie, Martin Brodeur. The bride can wear a number of other jerseys, including that of Scott Stevens, Jamie Langenbrunner, Zach Parise, or any other outstanding players. If it is in the budget, it would be cool to actually have one of the players at the party, although that would be expensive. Invitations for a hockey themed wedding should themselves be hockey themed. The wedding invitations could be custom made by a company or on the computer. The wedding invitations could also have a song gram inside, that sings the invitation to the tune of one of the many famous songs that the Devils play in their stadium.
